    • I’m so glad you were able to join us, and whenever we do these major ones (we’e usually been doing 10 day spans so people can come in and go and do it on their own time and schedule) we leave the linky open until about 2-3 days before the END, so that the max amount of people can join in if at all possible. Because yeah, we’ve had so many people tell us that they hadn’t heard or knew about it until they saw someone post a start up post etc, and we’ve found that once the start up posts start going up we get a lot more people coming in, since the word is spreading – and we always want to give those people a chance to join in, since heck usually there’s several days left of the WWRAT anyway! 🙂 I’m glad it worked out! And hopefully it works out for this next one that’s up now, the Wonderfully Wicked that’s October17-27th. Let me know if you’re up for being a challenge host too, we’d love to have you and it’s never too early to put your name in for a slot! 😀

  7. Hai! I just signed up! So excited to join the read-a-thon! (once it starts, of course :P)

  8. I’ve just signed up! I’m wicked excited because the timing for this is literally perfect. My presentations and midterms will be over and I can just read to my heart’s content for that week. (And then return to the grueling work of a uni student the next week. Sigh. ;)) Thank you for hosting this! I’m very excited! 🙂

  14. Yes! I’ve been looking forward to this read-a-thon. It starts the day before Dewey’s 24-hour, and therefore those same 24 hours and books will help my progress in both read-a-thons.
