Wicked Valentine’s Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

Wicked Valentine’s Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

Wicked Valentine's Read-a-Thon We hope you’ve had an excellent time with us this WWReadathon! I’m very sorry I wasn’t able to make the Twitter Party on Saturday – I missed you all, but was feeling too under the weather to deal with all the tweets and chat. But hopefully next time I’ll make them both! We’ll be announcing the dates for our next big WWReadathon in the next few days and I’ll send an email around to everyone on the current linky when we’ve got the new date, button and link up! 🙂

As always, these could never be a success without each of you and we especially thank our challenge hosts as well, for extending their generosity and helping make this event what it is, something special that so many look forward too. We’re very proud of that – and you should be too, because you all help get us there every time. XOXOX

Now, I didn’t do as well as I wanted in this WWReadathon, because of course as I’ve admitted I’ve been wrapped up in the Olympics.  I also got into Heart-Shaped Box that was a bit of a slower read for me than I would’ve liked!

But at least I finished a couple books and was able to make a decent dent into a third, which I’m still enjoying.

April’s Wicked Valentine’s Read-a-Thon Final Update

Wicked Valentine's Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

Mind of Winter by Laura Kasischke | Goodreads [finished!]

Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill | Goodreads [finished!]

Influx by Daniel Suarez | Goodreads [currently reading, nearly 40 % in]

Tabitha’s Wicked Valentine’s Read-a-Thon Final Update

My original goal was 12 books so I didn’t make it by 1! However, I did make my goal of reading at least 1 book a day since I completed 11 books and it was pretty much an 11 day readathon am I right!? So I still count that as a win. And hey – of the original 12 books I listed in my starting line, I only deviated from the list by 7 titles. So not bad!

Dreamwalker by C.S. Friendman | Goodreads (Finished!)

Red Delicious by Kathleen Tierney | Goodreads (Finished!)

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge | Goodreads (Finished!)

Sea Change by S.M. Wheeler | Goodreads (Finished!)

Innocence by Dean Koontz | Goodreads (Finished!)

Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop | Goodreads (Finished!)

Avalon by Mindee Arnett| Goodreads (Finished!)

Hollow City by Ransom Riggs | Goodreads (Finished!)

Night Owls by Lauren M. Roy | Goodreads (Finished!)

Tin Star by Cecil Castellucci | Goodreads (Finished!)

TBD Title by Wesley Chu (He refers to it as Time Salvager coming from Tor hopefully in 2015 – a guy travels to the past and gathers resources from deadend timelines (where disasters happen and lots of people die, some romance too *wink* – I LOVED it!) (Finished!)

    • Thanks! I was surprised I was even able to get this much done considering I kept falling asleep so early at night and The Olympics was a huge distraction! 😀

  2. I didn’t get as much reading as I would have liked. Between an online serial and Pinterest I spent way too much time not reading.

Great job, April! I’ve only read almost 3 myself, and I’m pretty happy about it. 🙂

Until the next Wicked, ladies! ^^
