Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge!

Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge!

Take control of your TBRThat’s right We’re TAKING CONTROL of our nutso TBR Piles. With the hosting power of Kimba the Caffeineited Reviewer who is drowning in a TBR of her own!

As book bloggers we often forgo reading our own books in favor of shiney ARCs we get from publishers. But there are so many books I hear about from other people that I’d love to read, not to mention ones I already own that keep getting pushed back. So! It’s time to read them!

It lasts the entire month of March, and I hear there are awesome prizes. Click her link for details. The main rule being the book has to have been published before MARCH 2014 to qualify.

  1. Wowzas, you both are ambitious with your goals. Hey, I love that! You guys are after my own heart :D

Good luck with your challenge, ladies. I see a ton of books there that I’ve either read or look interesting to me, so I’m looking forward to the reviews!

  3. Both of you have great picks for the challenge. And I am with you Tabitha. I read fast too and I am hoping to average 1 book a day, but the problem is that because I read fast, I tend to overestimate how many books I can read, and that is why my TBR pile has grown so out of control in the first place. I am off to a rockin’ start though so I am hoping to keep this pace up and take out a chunk of my pile.

    Good luck Ladies!!

    • That is exactly what I do as well. I’m always assuming just because I can manage a book a day that I always will, which is totally not the truth. Somedays what Im reading what tempts me at all. I always forget some books just read slower or take longer to get into.

Good luck hopefully we can both get our reading habits under control…but I doubt it lol

  4. April I read the first Rot & Ruin book and enjoyed it, don’t tell Christy but I so need to read the rest. Pabkins I have Archived on my list for this month as well! Good luck to both of you, and I hope you take part in the read-a-thon too :)

    • We are definitely taking part! I cant wait to read The Archived! Because I’m itching to buy the second and Ive made myself promise to stop buying the subsequent books if I haven’t even read the first, it always gets me in trouble.

  5. Wow you guys have a lot of books! I love Rot & Ruin and The Way of Kings, as well as Anna Dressed in Blood.I hope you both enjoy everything you read and good luck!

    • I swear I will read Rot & Ruin one day when I’m in a zombie mood again, I have heard such great things.

I am soooo excited to read The Way of Kings. I had told myself I was going to wait until there were at least 4 books out but now that the second is out I’m cracking…he is one of my favorite authors afterall.

  6. Yea for Gail Carriger! :)
