Wow, Armchair BEA went so fast this week! It flew by! It’s been amazing getting to see everyone and interact here in the comments and on other blogs! I’m still getting around to commenting on your blogs – promise! Slow and steady wins the race, right? Well maybe not, but I’ll get there!
Thank you for coming and chatting with me and sharing the madness we all love – books, discussing books, book blogging, and meeting book lovers! Maybe we haven’t been to BEA but we’ve had fun!
Wow, there’s so many awesome moments, hard to pick a few… hmm, well being mentioned in Alba’s post about being one of her favorite blogs melted my heart and I still can’t pick my jaw up off the floor! That totally made my year, especially since she’s definitely one of my favorite commenters and I always loves when she stops by to say anything at all – even if it’s nothing to do with the post, I don’t care! Also the fact you mentioned I’m one of the people you take the time to read reviews for, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy because I honestly don’t feel my reviews are all that special! <3
The Twitter party was a blast! I loved seeing people that I chat with in other events and it was cool to meet new people too! I love how sometimes you think you’re the only one thinking something and you put it out there and realize there’s tons of other people thinking the exact same thing. We’re never alone!
I was also super glad to be able to help a fellow blogger [Christy] with a spreadsheet to keep track of review books and schedules! This is a HUGE life saver for me, so I’m always recommending it for other people. I’m always happy to share my google doc with anyone who would like to take a look and possibly build their own!
I’m also stoked for all the book recs and the books mentioned on other blogs that look amazingtastic. I can see my goodreads “want to read” list growing by miles!
Favorite Discussion Topic
My fav discussion topic was probably the Ethics and also the Keeping it Real. Some really great advice in all of those posts! I also was super glad I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t quite sure what consisted of literary fiction!
Thanks everyone for making this week a blast! Let’s keep in touch!
If you’re looking for another fun event to hang out with fellow bloggers, here at My Shelf Confessions we’re hosting the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon June 7-14th [you can read as much or as little as you want, we're also on twitter and wherever you want to read!
