Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice!

      Thank you :)

    2. I’ve always liked reading non-fiction ghost stories and a book about the Amityville House left me scared.

    3. Most definitely A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. *shudders*

    4. Such an impossibly hard question! I love all of Dan Wells’ horror works, but I can’t say for certain that any one of them has creeped me out the most.
In fact, if I had to answer a book that’s left me feeling the most creeped out, it probably wouldn’t be a horror novel at all. It would almost definitely be “BZRK” by Michael Grant. Just…the horrors of nanotechnology and also the discovery (for me) of the existence of demodex. *shudders*

Thanks for such a lovely giveaway! :)

    5. Leann Lindeman says:

      Stephen King… It

    6. Lancer by Anne Rice. Not traditionally creepy but in other ways it totally was.

    7. I haven’t read a book in ages that truly scared me, but one that I remember giving me the creeps was R.L. Stine’s Say Cheese and Die. Looking back, I have no idea what I found so scary about it, but when I was eight it scared me silly. =)

      Thanks for the great giveaway.

      House of Leaves.

Anna Dressed in Blood was pretty creepy! So were Tamara Thorne’s books!

    12. Lolita. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great book but it’s still creepy :)

Let me in by John Ajvide Lindqvist o.o

    48. I don’t like creepy or scary stories so I avoid them. However, when I was younger and books were harder to come by, I’d read just about anything I could get my hands on. 64. I can’t remember the last time i read a creepy book, it’s not exactly my taste but I remember freaking out for Lupe!

    65. Over the years I’ve read a lot of books, and a lot of them were really creepy. However, let me be more specific, because in my mind, the true test of creepiness is: did it give me nightmares? Only three books have given me nightmares – the first was “Dracula” – a classic, and a very creepy book. The second was “The Dracula Dossier” by James Reese and the third might surprise you, as it’s a space opera, but it was “Nexus: Ascension” by Robert Boyczuk and I was totally creeped out by the story on that one – the suspended animation, the booths they had to lay in, SOMETHING crept into my dreams and gave me nightmares – freaky! So, these are some contenders for top, creepiest books, based on the fact that they all gave me nightmares. Which was the creepiest? *shrug* For me, “Dracula” will always be the king :-)

    66. I’ve read a ton of creepy or scary books, they are my fave, but the one that stands out today is One Scream Away by Kate Brady. Yeah, very creep/scary stuff!

    70. Dracula, the first time I read it (the ending is decidedly tame, compared to modern creepy fiction.)

    71. World War Z…really scary!

    72. The creepiest book I’ve ever read was Dracula by Bram Stoker. Wow. Still creepy after all these years!

Lionel Shriver’s “we need to talk about Kevin” gave me chills for days after I’d finished it. I dot typically read a lot of horror, but this book disturbed me more than many horror stories probably could.
