Blog Tour: Silas by Robert J. Duperre

Silas by Robert J. Duperre tour

Today My Shelf Confessions is very pleased to be opening the blog tour for Robert J. Duperre’s new book Silas! There are some very exciting things planned for the tour – we’ll get to that in a few. For now, let’s read what an average day in Rob’s life is like as a writer:

Ah, my day as a writer.  It goes something like this:

5:30 AM Wake up in the morning.

5:45 AM Get ready for work.

6:15 AM Go to work.

6:30/9:00/12:00/3:00 Read before work, during lunch, and every break in between.  (I usually read for about two hours a day this way,)

6:00 PM Come home from work

6:01 Kiss Jess (my wife and fabulous artist)

6:05 Check email, hang out, yawn

7:00 Eat dinner

7:30/8:30 PM Head downstairs to my basement studio

10:30 PM Stop pounding away at the keys…though this could last past 10:30 if the inspiration demands me to

10:31 PM Spend some more time with Jess

11:00 PM Time for sleep!

This is my usual schedule. On days I don’t work, sometimes I get down there early and write all day, sometimes I stick to the above schedule, only replacing time at work with time with my wonderful wife. Yes, it’s a hectic schedule, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

Silas by Robert J. Duperre

Robert J. Duperre, author of The Fall and Dead of Winter, now presents Silas, a contemporary fantasy novel.

Ken Lowery is a man at odds with his life. He hates his job, is disappointed in his marriage, and feels resigned to leading a mundane existence.

That all changes when his wife brings home a rambunctious Black Labrador puppy named Silas, who forges a remarkable connection with Ken and begins to heal his inner turmoil. When some neighborhood children start to go missing, he takes it upon himself to protect those around him and is thrust into a surreal world where monsters roam. Not everything is what it seems to be, he soon discovers, including his new best friend

Silas is Available: Amazon / B&N / IndieBound / Goodreads

  1. I’m the same way…sticking in reading whenever I can! People who complain about not having enough time to read should do the same. 🙂

I always love books with pets, so I’m intrigued.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    • It was my pleasure! Really enjoyed it and excited to be the one to kick off the tour! I’m amazed at how anyone can fit so much in in one day too, I know I have a hard enough time fitting in the things I need to do for my blog! 🙂

  3. He has quite the schedule! I wish I could stick to a schedule.

  4. Hey all! Sorry I didn’t make it yesterday – Irene problems, still no power. 🙁 But thank you SO MUCH for hosting me and kicking off the tour! I really, really appreciate it.

  5. Ashley Suzanne says:

Where do we find the answers to the questions?

    • I think you have to have read the book, but even if you get the answer wrong, you still get an extra entry/point for answering. You just get more for right answers. 🙂
