Swedish Crime Novel Challenge 2014 Welcome to the Swedish Crime Novel Challenge! We love a good thriller here at My Shelf Confessions – and there are always great ones coming out of Sweden! Stiegg Larsson comes to mind, so does Camilla Lackberg and Jo Nesbo.. and just to be clear – it doesn’t have to be a Swedish author – it just has to have been written by a Nordic-Scandinavian author. Swedish Crime Novel Challenge just had a good ring to it and easier to say!

We hope you will join us:

The Swedish Crime Novel Challenge will run from

May 2014 – December 31, 2014

This is a challenge that’s all about challenging yourself but also introducing your fellow bloggers to some great books and authors! I have only in the past couple years realized how many great thrillers and mysteries are written by Nordic authors and I’m always excited to discover more!

We haven’t decided on prizes or whatnot yet, since this is all about fun we didn’t want the emphasis to be on prizes. But there might be some in-store for people down the pike, we’ll see how much participation we get, etc.

I want this to be a community thing – so if you have suggestions – I’m lending you my ears! Please share them with us via email or in the comments and we’ll take them into consideration. 🙂

This page is the page that will get updated as questions come in that we think will be common enough to share with everything.

This  page will also host the linky for people to share their reviews – please no reviews before the month of May 2014.

All reviews that fit this theme for May 2014 through December 31, 2014 may be included on the linky. 🙂

Feel free to grab the button – just be sure to link back! We hope you’ll join us! 😀

    • Yay! 😀 I was just looking at The Marco Effect the other day! I loved Olsen’s The Keeper of Lost Causes and have wanted to read his others in that series ever since – they seem like they’re slow coming out though, which makes me sad, but I’m looking forward to reading this one too! 😀
